Dotson is the sixth undrafted Sooner to be picked up by an NFL team.

He joins Lewis Baker (San Francisco), Joe Jon Finley (San Francisco), Garrett Hartley (Denver), Marcus Walker (Minnesota) and D.J. Wolfe (Atlanta).

Dotson will be teaming up with former OU wide receiver Malcolm Kelly, who was drafted by the Redskins in the second round.

Didn't Alonzo's uncle Santana retire from the Redskins? I know they signed him (Santana) from the Packers but I don't know if he ever played there or not. Anyway, I hope Alonzo does well, he's a great kid.

Headline reads, "to play for Redskins." That's awesome that he already made the team! Most free-agent signees are just trying out (or providing extra bodies for off-season practice). Kind of surprising some other team didn't nab him in the first round.

He went to the right school to be successful. Boomer Sooner. If OSU's basketball program is as good as many of their fans claim, wouldn't there be more of them in the pros. Maybe that attempt at Self showed them a taste of reality. I don't think they liked it to well.
