Former OU star Mookie Blaylock upgraded from critical to serious condition after car accident

Former NBA and Oklahoma guard Mookie Blaylock was one of two people critically injured Friday afternoon in a head-on collision in Clayton County (Ga.), according to police.

Blaylock, 46, was driving when for unknown reasons, he crossed over the median.

Blaylock’s vehicle struck another vehicle head-on, injuring two people, whose names were not released, and himself. All three were transported to Atlanta Medical Center. Blaylock is now off life support, and is in guarded but critical condition.

UPDATE: Blaylock has been upgraded from 'critical' to 'serious' condition.
