FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — Wide receiver Deion Branch is inactive for the Indianapolis Colts against his former team in an AFC divisional-round game.

The former New England Patriots player signed with Indianapolis on Monday. He had been out of the NFL since his second stint with the Patriots ended after last season.

Also inactive for the Colts is wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey with a hamstring injury. Safety LaRon Landry and linebacker Josh McNary are active after participating fully in practice following last Saturday's 45-44 win over Kansas City when they sustained concussions.

Patriots rookie wide receiver Aaron Dobson is inactive with a foot injury. Two Patriots who were listed as questionable for the game with injuries — starting cornerback Alfonzo Dennard (knee, shoulder) and wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins (hip) — are active.
