Former business executive Jerry Cash was arrested in Nichols Hills on Sunday, accused of leaving the scene of a car accident and causing four more crashes, police said.
Cash was arrested about 1 p.m., a Nichols Hills police dispatcher said. He was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on complaints of driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, and disobeying a traffic control device. He was later released on $3,500 bail. Cash, 46, is the former chairman and chief executive officer of Quest Resource Corp., Quest Energy Partners and Quest Midstream Partners. Cash resigned in August after state officials began asking questions about transfers of $10 million in company funds to another entity Cash controlled. Police said a man leaving the scene of a car accident near NW 63 and N Western Avenue collided with a second vehicle. The second crash was seen by a Nichols Hills police officer who gave chase, Oklahoma City police Lt. Don Holland said. The driver continued on NW 63, crashing into three more vehicles at N Grand Boulevard, where he was arrested by Nichols Hills police, Holland said.
