The 28-year-old director of human resources for the Tulsa Regional Chamber is rare. A former Memorial High School athlete and graduate, she holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Tulsa and master's from Dallas Baptist University.
She was also a teen mom, had a second child four years later and spent eight years on nearly every welfare program available.
