Fort Carson deputy commander promoted to general

FORT CARSON , Colo. (AP) — A deputy commander of Fort Carson's 4th Infantry Division is being promoted to brigadier general.

Col. James Pasquarette will be formally promoted in a ceremony on Friday.

He is deputy commander for support for the 4th Infantry, which includes four brigades of 3,500 to 4,000 soldiers each.
