President Obama doesn't want to talk about his three years as president, so he's bringing up all kinds of diversions to keep Mitt Romney from talking about the real issue that's affected all Americans — the economy. Since Obama took office in 2009, he's increased the debt $5 trillion trying to stimulate the economy, but liberal policies have only made the economy worse.
Unemployment is at 8.1 percent, but that's not the true percentage when you consider the people who are either part-time employed or have stopped looking for employment. The Congressional Budget Office puts the real percentage of unemployed Americans at 14 percent. Obama wants a second term to “move our country forward,” and he says that if Romney is elected it'll move our country back to the days of the George W. Bush administration.
The Bush years weren't as bad as Obama says when you compare to now. In 2008, the last year of Bush's administration, gasoline was $1.80 per gallon. Under Obama's presidency gasoline is $3.65 per gallon in Oklahoma City; nationwide it's more than $4 per gallon. Unemployment was around 6.8 percent, and now, according to the CBO, it is 14 percent.
Americans can't afford another four years of Obama, as he will surely bankrupt our nation.
