Four deserving of BCS, but only two will go

If you didn’t stay up late Saturday night for the postgame coverage of Texas Tech -Texas, you missed ESPN ’s Kirk Herbstreit saying he doesn’t know which two Big 12 South teams will go to BCS bowls since four deserve to go.

Conferences are allowed only two BCS bowl bids and with four Big 12 teams among the top eight in the BCS standings, two will have to "settle” for the Cotton Bowl...
