Brandon Webb has been a steady force on the Oklahoma State offensive line this season, starting all six games at left guard.
But did you know he’s got dreams of serenading Stillwater with some Motown and soul music?
That and more in an entertainment-heavy edition of Four Factoids:
I have a piano that I used to play a little bit. I don’t play much anymore. I’m gonna have to bring it back up here, get with Parker (Graham) on the guitar and have a little band. Maybe perform on weekends or something … (I started playing) a year or two ago. I was just like, ‘You know what? I think it would be cool if I could play and sing. That would be great, and then I’d have a career.’ I think Jamie Foxx is the one who got it. He can play the piano and sing. I was like, ‘I like that talent,’ so I want to take that.
I can sing a little bit. Not too much. But a little bit. Not enough to perform, unless we’ve got a gig playing the piano and the guitar, me and Parker can do a duet. Definitely a little old school, a little Marvin Gaye or Al Green or something.
I’m actually a pretty solid basketball player. Pretty solid. People don’t think of it because of “Oh, you’re big.” But I can handle the ball, cross a couple people up. I can even shoot it from the outside a little bit. I’m just an all-around basketball player.
I like to watch a lot of movies. I have no specific genre (that’s my favorite), but if it’s a good movie, I want to watch it. There was a time where all the movies in the movie theater I had already seen, so every time the next one would come out, we’d go see it and it would just be a constant (cycle). The best movie I’ve seen recently? I think Prisoners was pretty good. Also Rush. Those are two different types of movies, but those were two pretty solid movies.
