Four people died in accidents on Oklahoma roads, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Larry Barrett, 61,

of Zeeland, Mich.

A Michigan man was killed in a Thursday collision, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

Barrett was killed in a crash about 10:10 a.m. Thursday in the westbound lanes of the Turner Turnpike near Chandler, the highway patrol said.

Barrett was a passenger in a tractor-trailer driven by Rodger Wylie, 48, of Grand Rapids, Mich. Wylie was taken to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City with multiple internal and external injuries.

Another tractor-trailer involved in the crash was driven by Ronald Ray Reed, 61, of Tulsa. He suffered minor injuries but refused treatment at the scene.

The patrol reports traffic had been slowed due to debris in the roadway. The tractor-trailer driven by Reed slowed down and the tractor-trailer driven by Wylie failed to slow down and hit Reed's rig.

Seat belts were in use by everyone except Barrett, the patrol reported.
