Can OSU win the Big 12 South?

It’s certainly possible. You don’t have to go undefeated to do it, but OSU has one of the toughest remaining schedules. The Cowboys have three games left against current top 10 teams, two of them on the road. They also have to go to Colorado, where they have won once in their last six trips.

Could Baylor beat the Cowboys this week?

Of course. Was anyone outside of Stillwater predicting OSU to go to Missouri and win? The Cowboys could easily find themselves the next highly ranked victim to fall. Baylor isn’t great, but it has talent on both sides of the ball, a developing star in quarterback Robert Griffin and a revived attitude under first-year coach Art Briles.

The last time OSU was ranked as high as No. 8 was in November 1985, and it lost the next week to unranked Iowa State.

Who called the fake punt on fourth-and-17 on OSU’s 24 in the second quarter?

Coach Mike Gundy swears he’ll never tell. Special teams coordinator Joe DeForest said "we need to do a better job of coaching in certain situations,” which leaves some ambiguity.
