Four University of Oklahoma football players who weren't selected in the NFL Draft have signed free-agent contracts.
Safety Lendy Holmes signed with the Washington Redskins. He'll join former Sooner Malcolm Kelly, who was drafted by the Redskins last year.
Center Jon Cooper will be going to Minnesota and could end up competing for a starting job there. The Vikings currently have only one center on roster in second-year player John Sullivan. But Sullivan was just a backup last year behind Pro Bowler Matt Birk, who left for Baltimore in March.
If Cooper makes the team, that would put two former Sooners on the offensive line in Minnesota. Saturday, the Vikings drafted OU tackle Phil Loadholt.
Sooner guard Brandon Walker signed a free-agent deal with the Houston Texans and wide receiver Quentin Chaney agreed to terms with the St. Louis Rams.
