Four teens in custody after a pawnshop burglary, pursuit and crash in south Oklahoma City

Police arrested four teens after a pawnshop break-in, police chase and crash Wednesday morning in southwest Oklahoma City.

Four teens were arrested Wednesday morning following a burglary at a pawnshop at 2617 S Robinson Ave., police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said.

Arrested on complaints of receiving stolen property were Francisco Davis, 17; Andres Flores, 14; Robert Hale, 17; and Eric Cruz, 15.

They were taken to a juvenile detention center, Knight said.

A witness called 911 and reported a break-in at Dean's Drive-Thru Pawn Shop about 4:10 a.m. A police officer responded and pursued a vehicle with four people inside.

The vehicle crashed at SW 27 and S Indiana Avenue, police said. One person was taken into custody. Police used a helicopter to search for the other three people, while officers blocked off the neighborhood to traffic.

Guns and video games from the burglary were recovered, according to police radio reports.
