Fourth Annual Mustache Bash to Benefit Citizens Caring for Children; Shop Good’s Downtown Summer Block Party Features Fun (and Fuzz) for All

Shop Good, a local clothing and accessories store, will host their fourth annual summer block party on Thursday August 8th from 6 p.m. until midnight, located on 9th Street in downtown’s historic Automobile Alley. Admission is free and mustaches are encouraged.

The Mustache Bash is an outdoor charity benefit block party, presented by Fowler VW, for all of the Oklahoma City community to enjoy. The block party is highlighted with live music, a curated outdoor market, free photobooth, live tshirt screen printing and local food including favorites such as Roxy’s Ice Cream Social, Coop Ale Works, S&B’s Burger Joint and Iguana Mexican Grill.

Featured performances from local bands include Parker Millsap, DEERPEOPLE, Tallows, Colin Nance and Jabee.

“The Mustache Bash has something for everyone to enjoy, whether you’re interested in seeing live music or shopping our outdoor gentleman’s market, we have mustache themed fun for the whole family that gives back to a deserving local charitable cause,” said Audrey Falk, Shop Good owner.

This year the beneficiary of the Mustache Bash is Citizens Caring for Children, a local nonprofit meeting the unique needs of children and young adults in foster care in Central Oklahoma through their resource center and mentor programs. Attendees can support CCC by shopping at Shop Good’s store, tee shirt printshop or outdoor gentlemen’s market, dining at a 9th Street restaurant or food truck, or buying a fuzzy faux mustache with a donation to CCC.

“We hope the Mustache Bash will be a great way for OKC residents to meaningfully give back to their neighborhood, we are planning on having an exciting and memorable night on 9th Street!”
