Edmond: LibertyFest Parade begins at 9 a.m. Thursday in downtown. ParkFest, offering free watermelon, music, games and contests, starts at 6:30 p.m. at the University of Central Oklahoma. The fireworks display starts at 10 p.m. on the UCO campus. People are asked to bring blankets or lawn chairs. No pets or ice chests allowed.
El Reno: Fireworks display Thursday at Lake El Reno near Elm Street and Country Club Road at dusk, music and food before the display. Information: 262-8687.
