Fox's NFC Championship Game telecast Sunday was the third most-watched conference championship ever with 57.6 million viewers, training only the 1982 Cowboys-49ers NFC final (68.7 million viewers on CBS) and the 2010 Vikings-Saints final (57.9 million viewers on Fox). The telecast received a 30.6 fast-national rating, including a 25.7 on KOKH-25.

College basketball ratings continued to struggle as shown by KOCB-34's Saturday doubleheader of Kansas State-OSU (2.7) and OU-Texas A&M (3.4). The Texas-OU women's game Saturday on FSOK managed only a 0.4.
