Beginning Saturday, Fox Sports Oklahoma and Cox Communications will combine to televise and webcast the OSSAA boys and girls state basketball championship games.

Finals coverage tips off Saturday with the Class A and Class B boys and girls championships from State Fair Arena, which will be streamed on FoxSportsOklahoma.com. Cox Communications also will webcast quarterfinal and semifinal games at State Fair Arena played on Thursday and Friday on coxhshub.com.

The Class 6A and 5A championships for boys and girls on Saturday, March 9, from the Mabee Center in Tulsa will be televised exclusively on the Cox Channel (channels 3 and 703).

Class 4A-2A boys and girls state title games from State Fair Arena on Saturday, March 9, will be shown on Fox Sports Oklahoma Plus due to overlap with Big 12 women's basketball tournament games on Fox Sports Oklahoma.

Steve Marshall and Rod Thompson will call the games from State Fair Arena, while Mike Wolfe and JV Haney will be the announcing team for games at the Mabee Center.

ESPN'S EDWARDS, OSU'S SPENCER ENGAGED

ESPN sideline reporter Jeannine Edwards and new OSU defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer recently got engaged, according to several reports.

Edwards is best known for her part in an incident in which Ron Franklin was fired from ESPN. Franklin allegedly called Edwards “sweet baby” and an obscenity during a production meeting for a radio broadcast of the 2011 Chick-fil-A Bowl. Franklin and ESPN later settled a wrongful termination suit out of court.
