ESPN'S EDWARDS, OSU'S SPENCER ENGAGED
ESPN sideline reporter Jeannine Edwards and new OSU defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer recently got engaged, according to several reports.
Edwards is best known for her part in an incident in which Ron Franklin was fired from ESPN. Franklin allegedly called Edwards “sweet baby” and an obscenity during a production meeting for a radio broadcast of the 2011 Chick-fil-A Bowl. Franklin and ESPN later settled a wrongful termination suit out of court.
Spencer's wife, Angela, passed away in November 2011 from a heart ailment.
