FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) — Thomas Schaaf is the new coach of Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Bundesliga club says the former longtime Werder Bremen coach signed a two-year contract on Wednesday.
Schaaf replaces Armin Veh, who quit at the end of the season and moved to Stuttgart.
Schaaf spent his entire playing and coaching career at Bremen. He coached the first team from 1999 to 2013, and won the German double in 2004.
He was without a job after leaving Bremen following an unsuccessful 2012-13 season.
