NORMAN — The Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art, 555 Elm Ave., will host Art “a la Carte,” a monthly partnership in conjunction with the Norman Art's Council's 2nd Friday Circuit of Art, from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.
Guests can enjoy food, drink, live music by Sherree Chamberlain and complimentary ornament decorating.
The museum has also announced its annual Holiday Grab Bag Sale at Muse, the museum store, on Friday. The Holiday Grab Bag Sale offers 15 to 40 percent discounts on total purchases from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

In observance of the holidays, the museum will be closed Dec. 24 and 25 and Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. The museum is closed all Mondays and will reopen with normal operating hours Jan. 2.
Museum visitors in December still have time to see the temporary exhibitions “Dark Light: the Micaceous Ceramics of Christine Nofchissey McHorse,” which closes Jan. 12, and “Libertad de Expresion: the Art Museum of the Americas and Cold War Politics,” which closes Jan. 5, as well as “Pablo Picasso's Woman in the Studio,” which returns to the St. Louis Art Museum after Jan. 5.
