Air quality is expected to be poor Friday in central Oklahoma, so officials are asking residents to reduce air pollution by carpooling or using public transit if possible, according to the Association of Central Oklahoma Governments.

Metro Transit provides free use of its buses every third Friday and encourages people to consider public transportation on ozone days.
