The class, to be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., is free, said Sgt. Bob Pratt.
The course is designed to teach and develop skills that will keep the motorcyclist safe and lessen chances of serious injury in the event of a crash, Pratt said.
This class will not fulfill any Department of Public Safety requirements for obtaining a motorcycle license or endorsement.
The class will be at the Edmond Fire Station 5 at Covell Road and Interstate 35.
Students must wear an approved helmet, gloves, boots and a long-sleeve shirt.
Proof of liability insurance must also shown before the rider is allowed to participate in the class.
