Free vaccinations offered in Oklahoma City

The Oklahoma Caring Vans will be in Oklahoma City providing vaccinations this month.

The Oklahoma Caring Vans will offer immunization clinics for children at several Oklahoma City locations this month.

The Caring Vans provide all immunizations required by Oklahoma law for enrollment in school or child care facilities. Services are provided at no charge to children who qualify. This includes children who are uninsured, Medicaid-eligible or American Indian.

Immunizations are given on a first-come, first-served basis. For each child immunized, a parent or guardian must be present to provide records of previous immunizations and to complete paperwork.

The Caring Vans will hold clinics at the following times and locations in Oklahoma City:

•11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, 7001 S Western.

•10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 16, 500 E Grand Blvd.

•10 a.m. to 2 p.m May 17, 2704 NE 24.

•9 a.m. to 3 p.m May 21, 1138 N Meridian.

•8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 22, 36 W Memorial.

Body mass index screenings also will be available for children ages 2 to 18 at all clinics.
