Four-star attraction

Edmond North at Enid
7:30 p.m., D. Bruce Selby Stadium, Enid

Plot: Both teams are in a battle for their playoff lives. An Edmond North win would all but assure the Huskies a spot in the playoffs. An Enid win would send things down to the wire in District 6A-3. Also critical to Edmond North would be a win, which would keep the Huskies alive for the No. 3 spot. That's critical because the fourth-place team in the district will have to go on the road to take on the 6A-4 champion, which barring something crazy would be defending champion Jenks.

Starring: Casey Goben has been one of the biggest surprises at quarterback in 6A, throwing for nearly 1,500 yards. Enid's got a pretty good quarterback of its own in Clint Chelf.

Get there early if: You've never seen Enid's downtown sports venues. David Allen Memorial Ballpark and Mark Price Arena are two of the great athletic venues in the state.

Three-star attraction

Wagoner at Grove
7:30 p.m., Grove

Plot: This is another game that will decide a district title — though if Wagoner wins, Miami still has a shot. Grove made the Class 4A championship game last season, and Wagoner, the district champions, made the semifinals, both losing to Bishop McGuinness. Outside of McGuinness, these are likely the two best teams in the class.

Starring: Wagoner's got the offensive stars in quarterback Durrell Parker and running back Everett Shaver. Parker has been banged up lately but figures to be healthy tonight. Grove has the defensive standout in linebacker R.J. Bartley, who has 119 tackles, a sack and one interception.

Get there early if: You want to check out the great outdoors. Grove features the Grand Lake O' The Cherokees, one of the premier bass fishing lakes in the region.
