Wagoner at Grove
7:30 p.m., Grove
•Plot: This is another game that will decide a district title — though if Wagoner wins, Miami still has a shot. Grove made the Class 4A championship game last season, and Wagoner, the district champions, made the semifinals, both losing to Bishop McGuinness. Outside of McGuinness, these are likely the two best teams in the class.
•Starring: Wagoner's got the offensive stars in quarterback Durrell Parker and running back Everett Shaver. Parker has been banged up lately but figures to be healthy tonight. Grove has the defensive standout in linebacker R.J. Bartley, who has 119 tackles, a sack and one interception.
•Get there early if: You want to check out the great outdoors. Grove features the Grand Lake O' The Cherokees, one of the premier bass fishing lakes in the region.
