Friday night rewind: Quarterback Bryan Dutton paces Guthrie in win over El Reno

No. 1 Guthrie held El Reno to 63 total yards and quarterback Bryan Dutton accounted for four touchdowns in a 43-7 victory in District 5A-2. Dutton scored on runs of 5 and 4 yards, and threw TD passes of 47 and 25 yards to JT McFadden.

The Bluejays (7-0, 3-0) take on No. 3 Deer Creek next week in a meeting of unbeaten teams.

Irish cruise to victory

David Love and Danny Krenger scored three times each as No. 4 Bishop McGuinness beat winless Guymon 73-0 in District 5A-2.

Love scored on a 35-yard interception return, and passes of 5 and 28 yards from Will Harjo. Krenger scored on a short run, a 25-yard pass from Harjo and a 35-yard interception return. Harjo finished 15 of 23 for 286 yards and five TDs for the Irish (7-0, 3-0).

Cyclones rally to win

Casady used three long touchdown passes and an interception return for a TD to outscore Dallas Cistercian 28-0 in the second half, en route to a 42-34 victory Friday night.

The Cyclones (3-4) trailed 34-14 at halftime, as Dare Odeyingbo scored four times for Cistercian. Then T'Quan Wallace, who threw a short TD pass in the first half, got going after the break to lead Casady's rally.

Wallace hit Michael Parry on scoring plays of 62 and 86 yards, then completed a 55-yarder to Davis English to give the Cyclones the lead. They sealed the victory with Parry's 20-yard interception return for a TD.

Seminole stays unbeaten

Trenton Newson scored three times and Doc Harvey threw a pair of touchdown passes in No. 4 Seminole's 46-6 victory over Prague. Newson had TD runs of 46, 6 and 56 yards. Harvey's scoring passes went for 30 yards to Kaden Wilson and 76 yards to Kade Davis.

The Chieftans held Prague to 121 total yards in improving to 7-0 overall, 3-0 in District 3A-2.

Wand leads Memorial

Warren Wand ran for 317 yards and four touchdowns, leading Edmond Memorial to a 56-35 victory over Choctaw in District 6A-4. Wand scored on two short runs, a 43-yard pass from Tyler Holcomb and on a 52-yard run.
