Suspect in custody in connection with Cushing triple homicide
CUSHING — A man police identified as a suspect in a Tuesday morning triple homicide in Cushing was booked into the Payne County jail Tuesday evening, authorities said.
Robert Chad Barela , 20, was taken into custody about 11:30 a.m., barely 6 hours after a caller told police he found three bodies in a home at 814 E Moses St. in Cushing. Police described the caller as a “significant witness.”
