Friends of library group plans book sale in Guthrie

GUTHRIE -- The Annual Used Book Sale of the Friends of the Guthrie Public Library will be on Saturday, Jan. 19.

As in past years, the sale will be in the Fellowship Hall of the First United Presbyterian Church, 102 E Noble, in Guthrie. The sale hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

 The annual meeting of the Friends will be 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at the Fellowship Hall, at 7 p.m., with the members-only pre-sale immediately afterward.

 The Used Book Sale is the main source of funding for the Friends, with the proceeds going to support the Guthrie Public Library and its programs.
