Frontier honors athletes Carroll, SOre, Rocky

WHITEFISH, Mont. (AP) — Athletes from Carroll College, Southern Oregon and Rocky Mountain College were named the Frontier Conference football players of the week.

Carroll running back Dustin Rinker received offensive honors. The sophomore from Riggins, Idaho, rushed for 241 yards and three touchdowns in Carroll's 35-14 win over Montana State-Northern. He also caught a 20-yard pass.

Southern Oregon linebacker Kalii Robinson won defensive honors. The senior from Los Angeles tallied three solo tackles, four assisted tackles and a tackle for a loss in the Raiders 76-29 win at Montana Western. SOU held Western to 17 yards rushing.

Rocky Mountain kicker Nick Knell won special teams honors. The senior from Lander, Wyo., kicked a 49-yard field goal, made 5 of 6 PATs and had three punts for 224 yards, including a 56-yarder in Rocky's 46-14 win over Dickinson State.
