NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (AP) — Lamarcus Joyner says he loves his role as Florida State's most versatile defensive player and wishes he could do more.

The 5-foot-8, 190-pound All-America defensive back said: "If the dear Lord blessed me to be 50 pounds heavier and 3 more inches taller I may go to linebacker or d-end or something. I just love football."

Joyner will be a key for the top-ranked Seminoles as they try to stop No. 2 Auburn in the BCS championship game Monday night.

The Tigers have their own hybrid player on offense in tight end C.J. Uzomah. The 258-pound junior lines up all over the field as a blocker and receiver.
