DETROIT (AP) — Detroit Metropolitan Airport crews have spent hours repairing a leak at an airport fuel farm.
An airport spokesman says the leak caused minor delays Thursday at the north terminal after contractors discovered it in the airport's fuel farm. He says it didn't pose a threat to public or environmental safety.
The leak was reported to the state Environmental Protection Agency. The spokesman says he doesn't know how much fuel leaked. It's unclear how long repairs will take.
He says some tanker trucks were brought in to help fuel aircraft.
