Friends and relatives have set up a fund for a teenager who is paralyzed after he was shot Tuesday morning while waiting for a school bus.
Bronson Quickle, 17, was shot about 5:45 a.m. during an apparent robbery. According to police and relatives, Quickle and a friend were waiting in a driveway in the 4300 block of NW 16 for a bus to Justice Alma Wilson SeeWorth Academy when two men approached them and said, “give us everything you have.” The boys replied they didn't have anything and were just waiting to go to school.
Quickle was shot in the chest and his friend was pistol-whipped.
