RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Great American Conference football coaches have picked two-time defending champion Henderson State to win its third straight conference title.
The conference announced Thursday that HSU received 10 of the 11 first place votes in the coaches poll. Coaches are not allowed to vote for their own team.
Harding received the other first place vote and is second in the pre-season poll.
Ouachita Baptist is picked to finish third followed by East Central Oklahoma, Southern Arkansas, Southwestern Oklahoma State, Arkansas Tech, Southeastern Oklahoma State, Arkansas-Monticello, Northwestern Oklahoma State, and Southern Nazarene.
