Photo Gallery: Take a tour along Route 66 37/49

The historic Route 66 sign for the Rio Siesta Motel (which is now a strip shopping center) blew down during 90 MPH high winds in Clinton. Interstate 44 was closed due to downed power lines, and traffic was diverted to SH 66 (behind the sign) and was backed up for several miles. Clinton, Oklahoma 06/12/05.
