A customer buys fireworks at the Big O Fireworks stand, NW 234 and Western, in Oklahoma County, Monday, June 28, 2010. Cory Maxwell, owner and operator of the stand, said traditional fireworks items like Black Cat firecrackers, sparklers and Roman candles, are still popular with his customers. Big sellers this year are night displays or aerial floral displays. New on the market are the 500 gram multi-shot cakes, which Maxwell describes as "a fireworks show in one box." He said he has ben in the business of selling fireworks for 15 years, and he is always amazed by the way the "technology keeps changing." He said manufacturers continue to develop new and exciting product lines. Photo by Jim Beckel, The Oklahoman
