St. Gregory’s University students, faculty and staff participated Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, in the Great Central U.S. ShakeOut, which is a multiâ€state earthquake drill. Many classes and administrative offices practiced the recommend actions during an earthquake – drop, cover, and hold on. More than 2 million people across nine states in the central U.S. signed up to participate via the organization’s website. Benedictine Hall, the main academic and administrative building at SGU, was badly damaged as a result of the 5.6 magnitude quake that struck Oklahoma in November.
