Pete Peters and Jack Ramey keep an eye on a large pot of spotted pup pudding they are cooking at the Crosstimber Ranch chuck wagon. The pudding's ingredients include rice, peaches, raisins, pecans, brown sugar, butter, vanilla and cinnamon. The Chuck Wagon Gathering and Children's Cowboy Festival returned to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum for its 22nd year. Boys and girls dressed in cowboy duds came to the grounds to enjoy and participate in pony rides, authentic chuck wagons, Dutch oven cooking, delicious foods cooked over an open fire, stagecoach rides, rope-making, face-painting, storytelling, musical entertainment and a Medicine Show are some of the featured attractions at this year's event on Saturday, May 26, 2012, Photo by Jim Beckel, The Oklahoman
