A painting titled " Filthy 13" by Joel Iskowitz.  It shows members of Jake McNiece's demolition saboteur team applying paint to each other's faces reparation for their pre-dawn parachute invasion of Normandy, placing the men  behind enemy lines to destroy two bridges and secure and hold a third. Jake McNiece, 93, was a paratrooper with 101st Airborne who parachuted behind enemy lines in northern France and led a team of men dubbed the "Filthy 13" on a demolition mission in advance of the Allied Forces D-Day invasion of beaches at Normandy on  June 6, 1944.
