Oklahoma great grandfather skydives at 91 - Photo Gallery 3/7

Warren Crawford enjoys the ride and the view as he and skydiving partner Andy Beck, come in for a landing. Warren said after landing, "It was quite an experience." After his jump, he told another skydiver that he was ready to do it again. Warren Crawford, Oklahoma City, a 91 year-old WWII veteran, made his first skydive Saturday afternoon, Nov. 17, 2012, at Cushing Regional Airport. Crawford served as a bombardier during the war, but had never parachuted from a plane. He said this has been a dream of his for most of his life, but had promised his wife he wouldn't do it until after she died. Crawford's two sons, Steve and Bud, joined their father on the skydiving adventure.The elder Crawford performed a tandem jump with Andy Beck, an instructor at Skydive Oklahoma, which gives lessons and provides an airplane service for skydiving enthusiasts.
