Victoria Landavazo holds youngest child, Axel, one-year-old, while wiping tears after arriving with other members of her family to see for the first time what the wildfire had done to their home. Victoria and her husband lived in the house with their seven children until yesterday when fire reduced it to charred rubble and hot ashes. They had lived there for two years. Residents in Luther were allowed to return to the their homes early Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, after they fled a rapidly moving wildfire yesterday that consumed at least seven structures on South Dogwood Street, leaving smoldering ashes where family homes once stood.
