Car hits nursing home in northeast Oklahoma City - Photo Gallery 7/9

These two Oklahoma City firefighters traded their axes for hammers long enough to construct a temporary brace that will be placed in the large hole in the north wall of the Skyview Nursing Center created after a car drove through the brick exterior and into a resident's room on Thursday morning, Jan. 10, 2013. The brace will support the ceiling and the remaining wall when the car is removed until permanent repairs can be made. A firefighter at the scene said the car was occupied by a female driver when it plowed into the building at 2200 N. Coltrane. The room was unoccupied at the time of the accident and officials said there were no reported injuries. Photo by Jim Beckel, The Oklahoman
