Photo Gallery: Red Andrews Christmas Dinner 1/22

Cassidy, one of the younger volunteers at the Red Andrews Dinner, serves butter to diners as they file past her station in the serving line. Organizers expected to feed between 5,000 to 6,000 guests at the Red Andrews Dinner on Dec. 25, 2013, an annual Christmas Day charity event in Oklahoma City since 1947. More than 1,000 volunteers prepared and cooked the food or stood in food serving lines to fill diners' plates with generous portions of turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, green beans, bread and a dessert. Children could sit on Santa's lap and have their picture taken with him before receiving several toys and books they could choose from a large display of toys and gifts inside the Cox Convention Center.
