Susan Harmon is unable to contain her emotions and she sobs while sharing memories of deceased friends in photos after finding a scorched photo album in the rubble of her home Tuesday afternoon, July 19, 2011. Pal, the family's pet mutt, awakened Susan Harmon with constant barking Sunday night when the home caught fire. Susan's son, Walt, credits the pet with saving his life and allowing him to rescue his mother, and her parents, Harold and Donna Gilliam. from the smoke-filled home before it was destroyed by flames.
