Article Photos: Dog credited for saving Oklahoma family from fire 8/8

Burned pages of a Bible are seen in the charred ruins of Susan Harmon's family home Tuesday afternoon, July 19, 2011. Her pet dog, Pal,  awakened Susan  with constant barking Sunday night when the home caught fire.  Susan's son, Walt, 24,  credits the pet with saving his life and allowing him to rescue his mother, and her parents, Harold and Donna Gilliam.  from the smoke-filled home before it was destroyed by flames.
