Article Photos: iPads help patients at The Children's Center find their voices


Abbagale Gonzales can barely move her head but communicates with teacher DeLisa Manley by blinking and moving her eyes as she touches the surface of an iPad tablet during a therapy class. Special education teachers at The Children’s Center in Bethany are using iPads in therapy sessions with children who are unable to speak or have limited speech. The electronic device allows these children to communicate their thoughts through the touching of the pad.
