Gary and Rhonda Buford watch as their house in Choctaw is demolished. The Bufords and their adult son were forced to abandon their property in June after the North Canadian River changed course into their back yard. The river bank continued to erode, putting the house in danger of falling in. PHOTO BY PAUL B. SOUTHERLAND, THE OKLAHOMAN PAUL B. SOUTHERLAND - PAUL B. SOUTHERLAND
