Northeast Oklahoma City resident Leigh Foxx walks to the convenience store in her neighborhood by a park that was the site of a reported rape July 26. She said she walks because she does not own a car, which is common in her neighborhood near NE 23 and N Lottie Avenue, near the state Capitol. She has armed herself with a pocketknife during walks since learning about different rape that occurred July 27 in the area. Police said recent attacks on women walking alone are unusual but not related. Photo by Juliana Keeping, The Oklahoman Julianna Keeping - Staff Writer
