Paraguayan farmers question probe into killings - Article Photos 21/25

In this Nov. 7, 2012 photo, the children of landless farmers play on a hammock where soy, right, grows on the disputed Campo Morumbi ranch, the site of deadly clashes between landless farmers and police, near the Marina Cue settlement, near Curuguaty, Paraguay. The “Massacre of Curuguaty” on June 15 occurred when negotiations between farmers occupying a rich politician's land ended with a barrage of bullets that killed 11 farmers and 6 police officers. The underlying dispute that set up the clash was decades in the making. The area's poor residents have long alleged that the land was effectively stolen from the state by Sen. Blas Riquelme, a leader of the Colorado Party that backed dictator Alfredo Stroessner from 1954 to 1989, and has dominated the nation's politics ever since. (AP Photo/Jorge Saenz)
