In this photo taken Nov. 29, 2012, after experiencing many tremors and earthquakes, a framed picture of Evelyn Perez's grandfather is the only picture left accentuating a wall in her one-story home in Navidad, Chile. Some of the highest seismic activity on Earth is found in Chile. After so many tremors, Navidenos have learned the magnitudes by heart. They know they’ll barely feel a magnitude two, but a magnitude seven will knock them off their feet and it’s a sign to dash for higher ground to avoid being rolled-in by a tsunami wave.
