Article Photos: Storm dumps 28 inches of snow in parts of Michigan 1/1

Wind and snow blow across the fairways at the Muskegon Country Club on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, in Muskegon, Mich.  A late winter storm is dumping snow on Michigan's Upper Peninsula, with up to 2 feet forecast in places.   Heavy lake-effect snow is expected along Lake Superior. Occasional white-out conditions are forecast into Wednesday. In parts of the northern Lower Peninsula, 6 to 9 inches of snow is forecast by Thursday morning. Some areas could see more than a foot.
