One reason Corso felt he lasted so long at Indiana was his relationship with the media. That's why he implied that OSU coach Mike Gundy took the wrong approach with his tirade following the Texas Tech game.

"I think that the young coaches will learn that as they get older in the profession, you just never take on the media because you can't beat them and they'll always crucify you and kill you,” Corso said. "And if you got one mad at you, then they're all mad at you.”

At the end of "College GameDay,” I expect Corso will don his giant Tigers mascot hat, picking Missouri to defeat Oklahoma just as he picked them to beat Kansas last Saturday. Although Corso has drawn the ire of OU fans with his predictions and comments, I'll always be fond of him because of my IU days.
